Reflection:
This class helped me to understand the Asian-american community. Through this class, I learned about the different ways that they have been discriminated through the years. For example, I earned about the concentration camps that were created for the Chinese-Americans during WWII. Chinese-Americans were force to abandon their houses , jobs, and families were separated. For example, in the book Come See the Paradise, a British-Chinese family was forced to separate. Further more, this caused conflict within the Chinese-American community because some of the man had to go to war and others refuse to go. Those who went to war were discriminated by their own people. In addition, I learned about the stereotypes that some people have towards Asian people.
